Michael Kolowich, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Michael is a pioneer in connecting people and technology. A former Lotus, Ziff-Davis and AT&T executive who was a prominent architect in the internet content revolution, he is a nationally recognized business strategist, technology executive, and Emmy-winning creative talent with WGBH-TV. Michael's career includes having been a Partner at Bain and Company, Chief Marketing Officer at Lotus Development, founding publisher of PC/Computing magazine, founder of Ziff-Davis Interactive (now ZDNet), president of AT&T's New Media division, and CEO of the first public internet content company, Individual Incorporated (now part of Thomson-Reuters).  Michael is a graduate of Harvard College (AB, Engineering & Applied Physics) and Harvard Business School (MBA, with distinction).  An avid pilot, Michael has served on the Board of Directors of Piper Aircraft and AmSafe Global Holdings, and is a Trustee of Boston's Museum of Science and of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.

Allen Deary, Chief Operating Officer

A seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive, Allen has a 22-year career in founding, building, investing in, and leading technology startups. Allen brings his experience in building global software development teams to lead and grow the key operating areas of KnowledgeVision: development, sales, and client support. Prior to KnowledgeVision, Allen was Senior Vice President of Hitachi Consulting's Outsourced Product Development unit, delivering services from development resources in China and India to clients in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has founded and/or led numerous technology companies, including Sierra Atlantic, CYA Technologies, ArrAy Incorporated, Human Asset Technology, and Peritus Software Services.

Alex Kieft, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President, Product

Alex oversees KnowledgeVision's product roadmap, as well as the design and development of the Knovio platform. He works closely with customers to understand the unique challenges they face, and he collaborates with the engineering team to design and implement solutions that address those challenges. Alex is also responsible for scoping and managing technical integrations between Knovio and our partner applications.

Prior to becoming part of the founding team at KnowledgeVision, Alex worked as a media architect for DigiNovations and as a film and computer instructor at Concord Academy. He is an accomplished JavaScript programmer and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, where he studied French Literature and Film and Media Studies.

Jeffrey Cooper, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff is responsible for the financial management of KnowledgeVision’s operations. In this role he provides oversight for the financial management of the business, directs the corporate treasury function, establishes the protocols and standards for internal reporting, including Human Resources, and assists in building the business model and plan, shareholder communication, and risk management for the company. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in managing and building businesses and has served as the CFO for both publicly traded and privately held companies. A former manager at Deloitte, Jeff has served in senior financial management positions at Northern Light Technologies, Spinnaker Software, mValent, Cymfony, Divine, Palm Technologies, EPOX-Z Corporation and Bennett and Company. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Forensic Consultant and a Fellow at the American College of Forensic Examiners. Jeff has a BS in accounting from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
