Michael’s career includes having been a Partner at Bain and Company, Chief Marketing Officer at Lotus Development, founding publisher of PC/Computing magazine, founder of Ziff-Davis Interactive (now ZDNet), president of AT&T’s New Media division, and CEO of the first public internet content company, Individual Incorporated (now part of Thomson-Reuters).  Michael is a graduate of Harvard College (AB, Engineering & Applied Physics) and Harvard Business School (MBA, with distinction).  An avid pilot, Michael has served on the Board of Directors of Piper Aircraft and AmSafe Global Holdings, and is a Trustee of Boston’s Museum of Science and of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.

Allen Deary, Chief Operating Officer

Allen-Deary-Knowledgevision-300pxA seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive, Allen has a 22-year career in founding, building, investing in, and leading technology startups. Allen brings his experience in building global software development teams to lead and grow the key operating areas of KnowledgeVision: development, sales, and client support. Prior to KnowledgeVision, Allen was Senior Vice President of Hitachi Consulting’s Outsourced Product Development unit, delivering services from development resources in China and India to clients in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has founded and/or led numerous technology companies, including Sierra Atlantic, CYA Technologies, ArrAy Incorporated, Human Asset Technology, and Peritus Software Services.

Alex Kieft, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President, Product

Alex-Kieft-Knowledgevision-300pxAlex oversees KnowledgeVision’s product roadmap, as well as the design and development of KnowledgeVision’s web, mobile, and desktop applications.  He is an accomplished JavaScript, Flex, and Flash programmer, and is experienced at integrating KnowledgeVision with Online Video Platforms.

Prior to becoming part of the founding team for KnowledgeVision, Alex worked as a Chief Media Architect for DigiNovations, the Massachusetts-based media production company.  Alex started his career as a film and computer instructor at Concord Academy, where he managed the school’s Media Lab.  Alex has also developed several websites for organizing and sharing online videos.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, where he studied French Literature and Film and Media Studies. Alex has also traveled to Senegal, West Africa, to research the region’s emerging film industry.

Chuck Dulde, Vice President, Sales

Chuck is responsible for managing KnowledgeVision’s sales organization in order to maximize revenue generation and predictability through direct sales and channels. He brings over 15 years of software sales, sales enablement and sales operations experience to KnowledgeVision. His industry experience includes service in software, high-tech, financial services, education, manufacturing and life science. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales Engagement at SAVO – a leading sales enablement company and Vice President of Customer Value for Enovia, a subsidiary of Dassault Systemes – a $4B global leader of advanced 3D design and engineering solutions. His sales leadership across companies big and small has resulted in multiples of revenue growth, a successful IPO and customer acquisition and retention rates that consistently outperform industry averages. Chuck, a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan, graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, WI.

Jeffrey Cooper, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff-Cooper-Knowledgevision-300pxJeff is responsible for the financial management of KnowledgeVision’s operations. In this role he provides oversight for the financial management of the business, directs the corporate treasury function, establishes the protocols and standards for internal reporting, including Human Resources, and assists in building the business model and plan, shareholder communication, and risk management for the company. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in managing and building businesses and has served as the CFO for both publicly traded and privately held companies. A former manager at Deloitte, Jeff has served in senior financial management positions at Northern Light Technologies, Spinnaker Software, mValent, Cymfony, Divine, Palm Technologies, EPOX-Z Corporation and Bennett and Company. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Forensic Consultant and a Fellow at the American College of Forensic Examiners. Jeff has a BS in accounting from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Marianne Rocco, Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing at Knowledgevision, Marianne helps our clients get the most from interactive, video-based content.  With an entrepreneurial mindset, Marianne is on a mission to help businesses use video-based content to break through all the noise.

Her career has focused on marketing strategy, messaging, and awareness, with a laser focus on optimizing marketing technology and content to create scalable demand.  She specializes in helping start-up and small tech companies get to the next level with marketing.  While at Teleport Communications Group (purchased by AT&T), Marianne transformed both the methodology of go-to-market strategy and market planning tools that became a standard in the CLEC market.  She launched her career with AT&T in marketing & business operations.

Marianne is a patriot and an avid reader, gardener and loves music.  She served in US Air Force as a Satellite Communications Officer, and is a graduate of Duke University in mathematics and political science and holds an MBA in Management from Boston College.  Follow her @MWRocco.
